| Obverse description | Central field bears the Hijri date 1320 rendered in large Western-style numerals enclosed within an ornamental cartouche of flowing Arabic calligraphic strapwork. Above and below the date cartouche, Arabic inscriptions identify the ruler and denomination in a decorative Maghrebi script. The entire design is framed by a beaded border running along the coin's circumference, with small lozenge-shaped ornaments interspersed among the calligraphic elements. |
