背面描述	Central circular device depicting the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem flanked by the Prophet's Mosque in Medina, set beneath radiating sunbeams symbolising the dawn of the fifteenth Islamic century. A palm frond curves along the left side of the central device. The Arabic commemorative legend 'القرن الخامس عشر الهجرة النبوية' arcs along the upper rim, with the Hijri date ١٤٠٠ at the lower right and the Gregorian date 1980 at the lower left. The denomination appears in both Latin script ('HALF DINAR') and Arabic script ('نصف دينار') along the base.
