Opmerkingen

The half-dinar denomination has historically been the workhorse of Bahraini everyday commerce, handling small retail transactions in a country where the dinar's relatively high value against the dollar makes fractional notes genuinely practical. This P#30 issue belongs to the fourth series, introduced as a rolling replacement rather than a full redesign — earlier notes from the same series carry identical basic architecture, updated primarily for enhanced security compliance.

De La Rue's involvement here is unremarkable in itself; they have printed Bahraini currency continuously across multiple series. The security specification on this note is notably modest by current Gulf standards — watermark and thread only, without the polymer window or color-shift ink found on higher denominations within the same issue.
