Reverse description The reverse of this Swedish copper plate money is entirely plain and undecorated, presenting a flat, unworked copper surface with no stamps, inscriptions, or design elements of any kind. This is characteristic of all Swedish plåtmynt, where only the obverse face receives the official die stamps. The surface retains the natural texture resulting from the casting and rolling process used in plate money manufacture at the Avesta works.
