The date 1568 is divided by the vertical arms of the cross, with '15' to the left and '68' to the right, positioned in the inner field. A small fleur-de-lis ornament appears at the top of the cross. The surrounding legend in Latin reads continuously around the coin's periphery, separated by lozenge-shaped stops. |
