| 裏面の説明 | The quartered royal shield of arms, bearing the arms of England, Scotland, and Ireland, is displayed at centre, flanked on either side by the crowned royal cypher GRI (Georgius Rex Imperator). The design was engraved by George Kruger Gray. Above the shield runs the legend FID:DEF IND:IMP, and below appears the denomination HALF CROWN with the date. The whole composition is enclosed within a beaded border, with the engraver's initials KG discreetly placed within the design. |
