| Reverse description | The reverse presents two confronted effigies of Queen Elizabeth II — a youthful crowned portrait on the left representing her accession in 1952, and a mature crowned and draped portrait on the right representing her Platinum Jubilee in 2022 — facing one another across a central sceptre surmounted by a royal crown. Between and below the busts, a quartered royal shield of arms is displayed, flanked by oak branches forming a wreath that frames the lower field. The entire composition commemorates seventy years of reign, with the jubilee inscription from the Queen's 1947 speech rendered in small raised lettering along the full circumference of the coin. |
