| Obverse description | The obverse features the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, depicting a right-facing diademed and draped bust of the Queen set within a titanium centre disc. A beaded inner border separates the central effigy from the gold-coloured outer ring, which bears the legend ISLE OF MAN ELIZABETH II around the upper arc and the date 2000 at the base. The triskelion emblem of the Isle of Man appears as a small device in the upper field of the outer ring. The engraver's initials IRB are present below the truncation of the bust. |
