| Reverse description | The reverse displays a cruciform arrangement of four crowned shields of the Royal Arms, set at the cardinal points: England (three lions passant guardant) at top, Scotland (lion rampant) at right, Ireland (harp) at left, and France (three fleurs-de-lis) at bottom, with interlinked royal cyphers of Charles II (interlaced CC) placed in each angle between the shields. A central ornament consisting of a small crowned rose appears at the intersection of the cross. The date is divided across the top field, flanking the uppermost shield, and the circumferential legend MAG·BR·FRA·ET·HIB·REX reads around the periphery within a border of raised denticles. |
