| Obverse description | The ornate Cláirseach (Brian Boru harp), the traditional Irish heraldic harp, is depicted in high relief at the centre of the field, rendered with fine detail including decorative knotwork on the soundboard and pillar. The legend 'ÉIRE' appears in Gaelic script along the left rim, while the date is inscribed vertically along the right rim. A beaded border runs along the outer edge of the coin. |
