Reverse description The reverse displays a standing Irish Hunter horse in full profile, facing left, rendered in bold relief against a flat field. The horse stands squarely on a raised ground line, its musculature and form executed in the clean, modernist style of designer Percy Metcalfe. The Gaelic word 'leat' appears vertically to the left of the horse, and 'CORÓIN' arcs across the upper field. The denomination '2S6D' is inscribed in the exergue below the ground line, with the designer's initials 'PM' visible to the right of the ground line.
