Reverse description Three lines of Arabic script in the fulus standard formula filling the field, reading 'Zarb Fulus Tiflis' (Struck Fulus of Tiflis) with the AH date 1011 (1602 CE) incorporated within the inscription. The lettering is boldly struck in relief against a plain field, though the irregular flan causes partial legend loss at the margins. The layout follows the conventional Persian-influenced fulus format employed at the Tiflis mint under the Kingdom of Kartli.
