Popis líce	Left-facing veiled bust of Empress Zauditu, wearing an elaborate crown adorned with crosses and decorative elements, with a veil draped over her shoulders. The engraver's signature P. BARRIERE appears in the lower left field. A circular legend in Ge'ez script surrounds the portrait along the periphery, with the Ethiopian calendar date ፲፱፻፲፮ (1916 EC / 1924 AD) inscribed in the lower exergue. The design is executed in a refined European medallic style characteristic of the Paris workshop.
