| Popis rubu | The reverse displays the Cross of the Order of Christ, a plain cross potent rendered in relief and enclosed within a beaded circle. A small ornament — alternating dots (º) and asterisks (*) — is placed at each of the four corners of the cross, filling the quadrants of the inner field. The beaded border continues around the full circumference of the flan, consistent with the obverse treatment. The overall style is simple and functional, characteristic of low-denomination hammered copper coinage struck at the Goa mint during the reign of Sebastião I. |
