Obverse description Central field bearing the heraldic crowned shield of Felipe (Philip), rendered in low relief in the primitive cast style typical of early colonial Malacca tin coinage. The design is heavily worn and the flan irregular, as characteristic of locally produced cast tin pieces of the period. No legends are present on this face.
