背面描述	The reverse features a full-length figure of the Spanish conquistador Vasco Núñez de Balboa in period armour, standing wading in water with his right hand resting on a downward-pointed sword and his left hand holding a large unfurled standard or flag on a pole. The figure is rendered in fine relief against a lightly textured field suggestive of the Pacific Ocean. The commemorative legend 500 AÑOS DEL DESCUBRIMIENTO DEL MAR DEL SUR curves along the upper periphery, and the date 2013 appears in the lower exergue.
