Obverse description Central field features a crudely rendered tiger passant accompanied by a stylized bush or foliate element, characteristic of the dynastic emblem of the Vagh (tiger) Rajas of Mehidpur. The design is executed in low relief typical of hammered feudatory coinage, with an irregular flan and uneven surfaces. The tiger motif served as the heraldic symbol of the issuing dynasty, whose name 'Vagh' itself means tiger in Marathi. No legible inscription appears on this face.
