Obverse description A humped bull (Nandi) standing in profile to the left occupies the central field, rendered in a naturalistic style with decorative adornments visible on the animal. The legend in Devanagari script encircles the device along the periphery, reading the ruler's name 'Shivaji Rao' and the issuing authority 'Indore'. A beaded inner border frames the central motif. The date in Vikram Samvat numerals appears in the lower portion of the field beneath the bull.

Reverse description The central field bears a three-line Devanagari inscription reading the denomination 'Adhi (Half) Anna' and the Vikram Samvat date, enclosed within a beaded circular border.
