Reverse description The reverse of the host British India 1/2 Anna coin features a decorative floral and vine wreath border encircling a recessed central field, consistent with the KM#468 type issued under Queen Victoria. The central field is largely plain and deeply recessed, now heavily worn and darkened with a brown patina. The ornate foliate border, comprising intertwining stems and stylized leaves, remains largely intact around the inner border. A beaded outer rim frames the entire design. No countermark is present on this side.
