| Obverse description | Central field features an ornate tughra-style calligraphic device in Arabic script, rendered in elaborate interlaced strokes, flanked on either side by a sprig of laurel or wheat, with the two sprigs meeting at the base of the design. The legend GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN arcs across the upper portion of the field in Latin capitals, with two small five-pointed stars serving as decorative stops on either side. The date appears in Arabic-European numerals below the legend. A beaded inner border follows the square-with-rounded-corners flan. |
