Obverse description Irregular hammered copper flan bearing a bold devanagari or early nagari monogram in the central field, rendered in high relief against a granular, porous surface typical of hand-struck Holkar copper coinage. The device, a stylised hooked symbol resembling the sacred sri or ruler's cipher associated with Ahalya Bai Holkar, occupies the majority of the field. Faint traces of a surrounding legend or border dots are visible along the periphery, though partially obscured by the irregular edge of the flan. The overall strike is characteristic of the Indore mint's hammered production during the late eighteenth century.
