| 正面描述 | The central field displays the numeral '192' in large, bold serif characters, indicating the denomination as one 192nd of a Rixdollar. This central device is enclosed within a denticulated inner circle composed of fine rope-like beading. The circular legend 'CEYLON * GOVERNMENT' runs along the outer border in raised serif capitals, separated by a floral rosette stop, all contained within a beaded outer border of evenly spaced circular pellets. |

Ceylon's fractional rixdollar coinage of the early 1800s was produced under the British East India Company following their seizure of the Dutch coastal territories in 1796. The 1/192 denomination reflects the extraordinarily complex subdivision system inherited from Dutch administration — 192 to the rixdollar — which the British retained rather than overhauling, at least initially. The silver-plated bronze composition of this particular piece signals a transitional moment when metal supplies and minting economics made a full silver strike impractical.
