| Obverse description | A scallop shell depicted in full face view, its radiating ribs rendered in low relief filling the central field. The design is characteristic of the Iberian coinage of Arse-Saguntum, where marine motifs served as civic emblems referencing the city's coastal identity. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with a green patina of ancient oxidation. No legend or inscription accompanies the type. The execution is typical of provincial hammered bronze coinage of the second century BC. |

| Reverse description | A dolphin depicted in profile swimming to the right, its arched body rendered in low relief against a plain, unadorned field. The dolphin motif is a recurrent type on the small bronze fractions of Arse-Saguntum, evoking the maritime character of this important Edetanian coastal city on the Iberian Peninsula. No inscription or legend is present. The flan is irregular with an uneven surface characteristic of hammered production. The coin shows significant surface corrosion consistent with extended burial. |
