Obverse description A prancing stag facing left stands before a decorated column surmounted by a crown, the whole device set upon a small plinth or base in the lower field. The design is rendered in high relief with fine engraving detail characteristic of early 18th-century German provincial coinage. A beaded inner circle frames the central device. The surrounding legend reads GOTT SEEGNE U. ERHALTE UNSERE BERGWERCK, invoking divine blessing upon the county's mining works, separated by small ornamental stops.
