Obverse description Draped bust of Duke Albert III facing right, wearing a long curled allonge wig characteristic of the late 17th-century Baroque style, with armored or draped shoulders visible at the truncation. The circumferential Latin legend is divided by the last two digits of the date (83) at lower right, with the full year split as 16...83 around the effigy. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail in the wig curls and lace cravat.
