Reverse description The central field displays the denomination '12' above the two-line inscription 'EINEN THALER', indicating the coin's value as one-twelfth of a Thaler. Below the central inscription, the mintmaster's initials 'C H I' appear in the exergue. The surrounding circular legend reads 'D G DUX M PR V S & RA COM S DOM R & ST', abbreviated Latin titles identifying the duke as ruler of Mecklenburg, Prince of Vendish lands, Count of Schwerin, Lord of Rostock and Stargard. The border is milled, consistent with the obverse.
