Reverse description The reverse field features a bold four-line German inscription in the centre reading 12 / EINEN / REICHS / THAL., denoting the coin's denomination as one-twelfth of a Reichsthaler. This central legend is enclosed within a plain inner circle, surrounded by a circular Latin and German peripheral legend reading FURSTL.MUNSTR.LAND.MUNTZ. followed by the date, identifying the piece as official Fürstlich Münsterische Landmünze coinage. The mint-master's initials appear within the legend. The composition and layout are typical of the standardised 1⁄12 Thaler coinage of the Holy Roman Empire in the late seventeenth century.
