Obverse description Left-facing draped bust of King George V wearing an imperial crown, rendered in high relief with fine detail on the royal robes and regalia. The effigy, modelled by Edgar Bertram MacKennal, presents the king in a three-quarter bust format with visible orders and decorations. The circumferential legend reads GEORGE V KING EMPEROR, distributed evenly around the upper and right periphery of the coin. A beaded border frames the entire design.
