| Obverse description | Central round hole surrounded by a crown above and the denomination legend encircling the hole. The Latin legend reads 'GEORGIVS REX ET IND:IMP:' along the upper periphery, with the denomination 'ONE TENTH OF A PENNY' in English and its Arabic equivalent 'عُشِر الپَنّي' inscribed around the hole in the field. The design is rendered in a clean, utilitarian style typical of British colonial coinage of the period. |
