Reverse description The full-length allegorical figure of Winged Victory (the Angel of Independence) stands facing, her wings spread broadly behind her, holding a laurel wreath in her raised right hand and broken chains in her left. To the left of the figure the silver weight denomination '1/10 ONZA' is inscribed, and to the right the word 'PLATA PURA' (Pure Silver) appears. The mint mark 'Mo', the year of issue, the country name 'MEXICO', and the fineness designation 'LEY .999' are arranged in the lower exergue, completing the legend around the design.
