Opis awersu	The obverse is printed in black and salmon-pink tones, with the bank's title 'Banco Comercial y Agrícola' in bold lettering across the upper register, above the caption 'COMPAÑIA ANONIMA. CAPITAL S/. 5.000.000.' A large allegorical vignette at the left centre shows a seated female figure in classical robes resting amid agricultural produce and a coastal scene, accompanied by a circular guilloche medallion to her left. To the right, a second oval vignette contains a portrait of a young woman in a turban-style headdress, flanked by numeral panels reading '1000' and the denomination text 'UN MIL SUCRES' and 'EN MONEDA CORRIENTE' at centre, with signature lines for 'PRESIDENTE DEL DIRECTORIO' and 'GERENTE' along the lower border.

Opis rewersu	The reverse is printed entirely in orange-red tones and presents, on the left half, a detailed architectural vignette of an equestrian statue set before a classical building facade with iron railings, the whole enclosed within an arched frame surrounded by fine guilloche borders. The right half carries an ornate panel with the bank's name arranged in three lines — 'BANCO', 'COMERCIAL', 'Y AGRÍCOLA' — surrounding a large blank oval, itself enclosed in layered lathe-work patterns, with the numeral '1000' repeated in the upper-right and lower-right corners.
