| 备注 |
El Banco de la República del Paraguay was a short-lived institution, operating from 1906 until its liquidation in 1916 after years of financial mismanagement and political instability. This 1907 issue came early in the bank's existence, when Paraguay was still rebuilding its monetary infrastructure decades after the catastrophic losses of the War of the Triple Alliance had effectively destroyed the country's population and economy.
Lit. T. Bouchard was a Buenos Aires lithographic house that handled a range of South American commercial and financial printing work. At the 1,000 Pesos denomination, this would have been a high-value instrument in limited daily use — more likely held by merchants and government offices than passing through ordinary hands.
