Reverse description The reverse is printed in purple and violet tones on a fine guilloche background and carries the full terms and conditions of the 1993 Azerbaijani domestic interest-bearing state loan in dense Azerbaijani text arranged in multiple columns. A table of bond categories and interest payments occupies the right portion of the composition, while the denomination BİR MİN MANAT is repeated in large bold letters along the lower margin within an ornate frame. A small oval vignette bearing the numeral 1000 appears at the upper centre, and a printer's copyright notation is present at the lower right.

Azerbaijan's first independent currency series arrived amid catastrophic inflation — by 1993 the manat was losing value faster than notes could be printed. The 1,000 manat was a high denomination at issue; within two years it was effectively worthless pocket change, and the entire series was superseded by a second manat introduced in 2006 at a redenomination rate of 5,000 old to 1 new.

The P#13C designation indicates a late printing variant within the 1,000 manat type — differences between the A, B, and C suffixes typically involve paper or serial number style changes rather than design alterations. Worth confirming the serial block against established references before attributing the variety.
