| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in olive-green and dark green tones on white paper, with an elaborate guilloche border framing the entire face. The Ottoman tughra appears in a circular cartouche at the top centre, flanked by the numeral 1000 in the upper corners in both Eastern Arabic and Western numerals. The central field carries the Arabic inscriptions of the issuing authority and denomination within a dark guilloche panel, beneath which the serial number appears in two positions flanking a manuscript signature. |
