| Obverse description | Plain cream-coloured paper receipt-style document with printed text in Slovenian. The upper left bears the issuing authority inscription, while the centre carries the heading 'Potrdilo' (Receipt) in bold letterpress type. A circular red official stamp of the Osvobodilna Fronta / Okrožni Odbor is applied to the centre-left field, and handwritten entries record the payee name and the amount of 1000 lire with handwritten signatures of the Predsednik (President) and Tajnik (Secretary) at the lower portion. The Okrožni Odbor OF za Zapadno Primorsko was one of several regional Liberation Front committees issuing emergency currency in the Slovene Littoral during the German and Italian occupation — territory bitterly contested before, during, and after the war. This 1.000 Lir note reflects the practical reality of partisan administration: local committees needed a medium of exchange for controlled areas, and the Italian lira infrastructure was the only reference point available, even for those fighting against Axis authority.
Western Primorsko notes from 1944 are among the more localized and ephemeral issues of the Yugoslav partisan monetary network. Few survived the chaotic transfer of power in 1945.
