Obverse description Green-tinted note with an elaborate guilloche border and corner numeral 1000 tablets. At centre top, an oval vignette presents a panoramic cityscape of Stockholm. To the lower left, a classical allegorical female figure with a lion is rendered in fine intaglio engraving, while to the lower right a crowned female portrait bust appears in a matching arched frame. The central text field carries the bank name and denomination in bold letterpress, with the place and date inscription 'Stockholm 1876' above the printed serial number in red.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in a two-colour scheme of green and rose-pink, dominated by a large central guilloche panel incorporating the numerals 1000 in open lacework. Flanking the central panel on both sides are identical oval portrait vignettes of a classical female head in green intaglio. Corner numerals 1000 appear in each angle, and a delicate guilloche underprint fills the entire field.
