The BEAC 1000 Francs series running from 1993 through 2002 is notable chiefly for what the signature combinations reveal: Mamalepot held his position as one signatory across the entire decade-long run, while the countersignatory changed five times — Mebara, Mamba, Kaltjob, and finally Akumchi Awa. Each pairing reflects actual personnel changes at the bank rather than ceremonial rotation, making date-signature attribution the primary collector variable within the type. The 1993 date with Mamalepot/Mebara is the scarcest opening issue; the 1994–1997 Mamba dates are the most common in circulated grades.
