The heading 'BANQUE DE L'ALGÉRIE' appears at the top, followed by the payment clause 'IL SERA PAYÉ EN ESPÈCES, À VUE, AU PORTEUR', with three signature lines at centre for L'Administrateur, Le Directeur, and Le Caissier. Flanking the central field are classical allegorical figures — a male figure with trident to the left and a female figure to the right — atop ornate pedestals, with additional reclining allegorical figures and decorative vignettes along the lower border, the whole framed by an elaborate guilloché and arabesque border. |
