Reverse description	The reverse is printed in black intaglio on plain paper, with an elaborate guilloché and arabesque frame enclosing the entire field. At the top centre a crescent-and-star device is set within a decorative rosette, while the central panel bears the denomination 'MILLE FRANCS' in bold capital letters above a cursive script line reading 'BANQUE DE L'ALGÉRIE'. A finely engraved heraldic vignette with foliate ornaments occupies the lower centre, and small rosette medallions are positioned at the four inner corners of the border.
