正面描述 Green-toned cheque-format note with the denomination 1000000 in large numerals at upper left and lower right. A vignette of the Imam Reza Shrine in Mashhad occupies the right-centre field, rendered in fine intaglio line work over a guilloche underprint. The Bank Melli Iran emblem appears at centre-left alongside Persian script legends, with printed fill-in fields for date, recipient, and authorising signatures.

备注

Bank Melli Iran introduced the 1,000,000 Rial denomination at the turn of the millennium, a direct consequence of decades of inflation following the 1979 revolution and the economic disruptions of the Iran-Iraq War. By 2000, the rial had lost so much purchasing power that high-denomination notes were the only practical way to conduct routine large transactions without handling unwieldy bundles of lower values.

Iran has consistently printed its own banknotes domestically since severing relationships with Western security printers after 1979. The absence of a Pick catalog number suggests this issue remains unconfirmed or unlisted in standard references — worth flagging before acquisition.
