| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse is printed in red and black on cream paper in a boldly modernist typographic style consistent with Bauhaus design principles. The denomination '1000000' appears in large black numerals within a solid red rectangular band at the upper left, beneath which 'EINE MILLION MARK' is set in bold black letterpress. A repeating binary-style guilloche underprint in red covers the lower half of the note, overlaid with the date 'WEIMAR, DEN 9. AUGUST 1923' and the issuing authority 'DIE LANDESREGIERUNG', accompanied by the Thuringian state arms at the lower left and multiple manuscript signatures.
