| Obverse description | Typeset Notgeld voucher printed in dark brown letterpress over a salmon-pink guilloche underprint, enclosed within a fine lattice border. The heading "Gutschein" appears in ornate Fraktur script at the top, flanked at the upper corners by hammer-and-pick mining symbols. The denomination "Eine Million Mark" is set in large bold Gothic type at centre, beneath which a block of small-print text enumerates the participating coal-mining companies and corporate guarantors valid in the districts of Zwickau, Chemnitz, and Dresden, with the issuer's name, place, and date of 14 August 1923 at the foot followed by a manuscript signature. |
