| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in the same dark teal-green on cream paper, with an identical multi-layered guilloche border and wavy-line underprint filling the central panel. The denomination numeral '1000000' is set in very large open outline figures at the centre of the field, flanked by ornamental rosette medallions at both lateral margins. The issuer name 'Rheinisches Braunkohlen-Syndikat' appears in bold letterpress above the numeral, while the legal form legend 'Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung in Köln' is set below it.
