| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in green on pale paper and divided into two vertical panels. The main left panel is enclosed within a decorative floral border and carries the denomination "EINE MILLION" in large blackletter script at centre, above a four-line redemption text in italic type and the issue date "Pirna, den 1. September 1923". At upper centre, the heading "Gutschein des Bezirksverbandes der Amtshauptmannschaft Pirna" is set in roman type, and two manuscript signatures appear below the issuer name with the printed titles "Regierungsrat" and "Kasseninspektor". The narrower right panel bears a guilloche wave underprint, the numeral "1" and "Million Mark" at top, a circular seal of the Bezirksverband der Amtshauptmannschaft Pirna with the Saxon arms at centre, the series designation "REIHE A" in bold, and a red serial number below; the note is authorised by the legend "Zugelassen vom Reichsfinanzministerium" at upper right. |
