The right half bears the denomination in large Gothic blackletter type reading '1 Million' above '+ Eine Million Mark +', followed by a framed payment clause, the issue date 'Erlangen, 20. August 1923', and the dual authority lines 'Stadtrat Erlangen' and 'Stadtkämmerei' with two manuscript signatures below. A decorative chain-link guilloche border frames the entire note. |
