| Obverse description | Notgeld voucher (Gutschein) printed in black Fraktur script on a pale rose ground with an all-over green guilloche lattice border. The large denomination text 'Eine Million Mark' occupies the central register, flanked above by a validity clause naming the Stadt Plauen i. Vgtl. and the Bezirksverband der Amtshauptmannschaft Plauen, and below by a redemption clause listing the municipal treasuries of Plauen, Reichenbach, Mylau, and Netzschkau. The issue date 'Plauen, den 10. August 1923' appears in the lower centre, with three manuscript signatures beneath the authorities 'Der Rat der Stadt Plauen' and 'Bezirksverband der Amtshauptmannschaft Plauen', identified respectively as Oberbürgermeister, Stadtkämmerer, and Amtshauptmann. |
