| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in dark blue on cream paper and composed entirely of typographical and ornamental elements, with no pictorial vignette. An elaborate foliate and scrollwork border frames the entire face, with an embossed dry-seal stamp visible in the upper left area. The denomination "Eine Million Mark" is set in bold blackletter script at the upper centre, beneath which the redemption text, issue date of 10 August 1923, and the issuing authority are laid out in a formal letterpress composition, with a green serial number printed across the lower centre between the two manuscript signatures. |
