| Obverse description | Typeset notgeld note executed in letterpress, printed in black on cream paper over a fine guilloche underprint, and enclosed within a decorative border composed of repeating oval and circular ornamental units. The denomination EINE MILLION MARK is set in bold blackletter type at centre, below which the issuing clause names the Städtische Kämmereikasse Stettin and the date 11. August 1923; the legend Ersatz-Wertzeichen appears at upper left, with the serial number printed in red within a ruled box at upper right. The validity clause Gültig bis 1 Monat nach Aufruf runs along the top margin, and the printer's imprint M. Bauchwitz, Stettin. is given at the foot. |
