| Reverse description | The reverse of the underlying 25 Dinara novčani bon carries the crowned arms of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina at center right, accompanied by bilingual Latin and Cyrillic inscriptions. A handstamp overprint impresses the revalued figure of 1,000,000 (milion) Dinara over the original denomination. Serial number panels appear in the field alongside the overprinted value. |

Bosnia and Herzegovina's 1993 hyperinflation was among the most severe produced by any conflict in late twentieth-century Europe. The Narodna Banka issued this million-dinar note as the Yugoslav dinar continued its catastrophic collapse, a currency still nominally shared across fracturing successor states even as they fought each other. Denominations escalated so rapidly that notes of this face value became functionally inadequate within weeks of issue.
The printed date 30.04.1945 is the authorization date encoded in the serial numbering convention — not a misprint, and not the actual print date.
