| Obverse description | Pink-toned Kassenschein printed in black and blue on a light guilloche underprint. The upper portion carries a panoramic vignette of a rural Allgäu landscape with a half-timbered farmhouse, a church tower, and an Alpine mountain backdrop rendered in fine line engraving. The denomination "Eine Milliarde Mark" is set in large blue Fraktur script at centre, below the heading "Kassenschein", with the issuing authority "Amtskörperschaft Leutkirch" in a banner at top and a text stating the obligation of the Oberamtssparkasse Leutkirch, dated 20. August 1923. Three manuscript signatures appear below, under the printed titles Oberamtmann, Oberamtspfleger, and Sparkassendirektor, with a serial number panel at the foot. |
